Love – Forever Changes | US LP Reissue, 180g, R1-74013 (New, Sealed)

Forever Changes was the third album by the Los Angeles band Love, released on Elektra in November 1967. Led by singer and songwriter Arthur Lee, the band made a record that sold modestly in the US at the time but has since become one of the most admired albums of the late 1960s.

The sound is psychedelic folk rock dressed in strings and horns, with orchestral arrangements by David Angel set against acoustic guitars. Bryan MacLean's Alone Again Or opens the album with its flamenco-style guitar and mariachi trumpet, and Lee's songs, from A House Is Not A Motel to You Set The Scene, pair lush melodies with uneasy, often cryptic lyrics about the world outside the summer of love.
