Gorillaz – Demon Days | 2LP Reissue, 180g (New, Sealed)

Demon Days is the second album by Gorillaz, the virtual band created by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, released by Parlophone in May 2005. Produced with Danger Mouse, it was darker and more cohesive than the debut and became one of the biggest albums of the decade, led by Feel Good Inc. and DARE.

The album moves through dub, hip hop, trip hop, gospel and indie rock, held together by Albarn's melancholy melodies and a loose theme of a world in decline. Guests are part of the story: De La Soul on Feel Good Inc., Shaun Ryder on DARE, MF DOOM on November Has Come, Roots Manuva on All Alone, Dennis Hopper narrating Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head, and a gospel choir lifting the closing title track.
